Lax & Co LLP started business on 1st May 2007. The three founding partners previously worked together at Lawrence Graham LLP where Mike Lax headed up the Shipping and International Trade Department.

The firm provides legal advice on all aspects of Shipping and International Trade including contract of carriage disputes, sale and purchase issues and ship salvage and casualty work. We work with ship owners, charterers, operators, P&I Clubs, shipyards, banks and commodity traders. We have developed strong commercial ties with law firms around the world and regularly act in conjunction with lawyers in other jurisdictions.
